Build a Same-Purpose Comparison

Compare shoes that solve the same job. Everyday sneakers should compete with everyday sneakers; runners with runners; boots with boots. A shortlist becomes confusing when every pair serves a different use case.

For each pair, write one reason it deserves to stay. If two pairs have the same reason, remove the weaker one.

Size from Foot Length and Current Seller Guidance

Your usual EU or US size is useful context, not proof. Read the current seller chart and use foot-length guidance when available. If insole or internal-length information is shown, compare the measurement method before using it.

Start with the whole pair:

• correct size label;

Then move to panel alignment, stitching, sole edges, visible glue, logos and small cosmetic marks. Large structural differences are usually more useful to identify first.

Use Measurement Photos with a Known Reference

A ruler photo becomes more useful when you already know the target measurement from a pair you own. Check where the measurement starts and ends instead of trusting a caption alone.

The Shoe Box Is a Logistics Choice

A retail box can protect the pair, preserve presentation and matter to collectors. It can also create considerable empty volume. Decide whether the box has value to you and whether the shoe needs its structure before requesting a reduced-packing option.

Removing every box automatically is just as simplistic as keeping every box automatically.
